MARCUS GLENN
Director of the Food and Agriculture Literacy

Marcus Glenn is a native of Houston, TX. Mr. Glenn is the Director of the Food and Agriculture Literacy program for Houston Independent School District’s Nutrition Services. In this role, Mr. Glenn manages a team of nutrition and agriculture educators. Mr. Glenn oversees community outreach events for the department, serving over 40,000 students and families. Mr. Glenn has served the Houston community in many capacities with various community organizations including Black United Fund of Texas, Houston Community College-Northeast, Prairie View A&M University’s Cooperative Extension Program’s, Harris County 4-H and Youth Development Agent, and the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo’s Black Heritage Committee.
