Peter Boudreaux

Partner | Architect Curry Boudreaux Architects

Peter is an architect, a partner in the firm Curry Boudreaux Architects for over 27 years. His work as a designer is focused on health, wellness, and community-based projects. His firm has been successful in creating many projects serving those in vulnerable circumstances, whether it is a disability, illness, or economic circumstances. His past projects, such as Camp For All, Camp Aranzazu, The Weekley Family YMCA, Avondale House, Tellepsen Scout Camp, and many others like these, are accomplishments of many people working together for a common goal and a proud legacy of collective community action.

Peter has had the opportunity to serve on several boards, including as a founding board member of Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory. The students of Cristo Rey Jesuit are part of families that are of limited economic means but of high desire to see the future generations of their family live a better life in all ways, including intellectually and spiritually. Through their 100% college admissions combined with community service work, six graduating classes have come to know that “Giving spreads Good,” and that an attitude of gratitude means serving others unhesitatingly.

His other board service includes the Camp For All Advisory Board, the University of Houston Architecture Alumni Association, Rice MLS Alumni Association, and currently his work with Community Works CDC.

Peter is married to Susan, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. They are the proud parents of Andre, a recent graduate of the UT School of Architecture now working at the Downtown Austin Alliance, and Camille, who works with young adults with Autism at Social Motion Skills.
